About the Dogo Argentino Breed & Dogo Argentino Kennel Club

The Dogo Argentino Kennel Club (D.A.K.C) was founded in 2017 by a group of Dogo Argentino lovers and enthusiast, who firmly believes with all sincerity that the Dogo Argentino as a collective breed is by far worthy of independent canine registry.

As founders, the interest is primarily to  increase the breeds visibility, promote more public awareness through education about the  breed,  provide a platform through which breed standards can be established without compromise or prejudice, and  stimulate through healthy competition an atmosphere wherein conformation and performance are equally as important.

The DAKC is honored to announce that we have the official support of Dr. Ulises D’Andrea Nores.  Dr. Nores is the grandson of Dr. Antonio Nores Marinez. It is a well established and accepted fact that  Dr. Martinez is accredited with the development of the Dogo Argentino breed. We are eagerly anticipating receiving the insight, enrichment, direction, knowledge, and  experience from Dr. Ulises Nores as he serves as a DAKC board member.

Partnering with Dr. Nores as a qualified advisor will enable DAKC to provide an exceptional platform upon which the Dogo Argentino can gain well-deserved exposure with a focus on conformation, work ability, temperament, and resilience. Combining education with competition, it is DAKC’s aim to maintain the integrity of the Dogo Argentino  breed which will enable the breed to be kept true to form, as was originally intended by Dr. Martinez.

Please feel free to reach out to the D.A.K.C. if you have any questions regarding this amazing breed.  We can help you find reputable breeders and we can also help you what to look for when you are considering a Dogo.  We are here to help and educate everyone who wants to learn about the Dogo Argentino.
